Location:
Tisdale located in the Northeastern Region of Saskatchewan, 210 km northeast of Saskatoon, 133 km southeast of Prince Albert and 304 km north of Regina.
with the arrival of the railway, the Town was renamed Tisdale in honour of F.W. Tisdale, a prominent employee of CN Rail. Englishman Henry Kelsey, a well-travelled employee of the Hudson Bay Company, originally explored the area in 1690.
Tisdale is recognized as the "Hub of the Northeast" due to its central location in the region.
