Additional Info

The tower was constructed by and for Weymouth Sea Products. The plant was built as a sardine producing facility with "Weymouth Sardines" as the main product. The green "W" on the water tower was the companies Logo. The blue image below the grwwn "W" represents a sardine. Sea Products went into receivership in 1982. The company was sold to Connors' Bros. and operated as a sardine producer until the mid 90's. It was subsequently sold to it's current owner, Lewis Lumber who converted the facility to a wood moulding factory. The tower is located on land overlooking the Sissiboo River.
