The water-powered grist and saw mill, the Dakota Mill, operated on Cedar Springs Road until the mid-1970s. The Mill was destroyed by fire on 17 November 1979. A few remnants of the old Dakota Mill can still be found in the field just north of the Dakota Mill Bridge on Cedar Springs Road. | ||
