Suikerzakjes (sugar bags)
As a youngster I also collected sugar bags. There was a teaspoon of sugar in each bag. These small bags measured 2x3 inches (5x8 cm), and were printed with a logo or image of the place that served tea or coffee wether it was a restaurant or a lunchroom in a school, club, office or factory.
Some of the bags shown on this site bring back many memories, see text. Collecting
these small sugar bags is still popular in The Netherlands.
