Hand held showerheads. Fixed mount showerheads. Replacing a shower head. Shower slide bar kit

CLOGGED SHOWERHEADS
Hard water from private wells contains large amounts of calcium and magnesium. Traces of these two minerals are also found in water treated by your municipality. While suitable for drinking and gardening, hard water can cause mineral build-up in showerheads, reducing its flow and spray pattern. The limescale can be removed by immersing the showerhead in a solution of water and vinegar.

Hand held showerheads. Fixed mount showerheads. Replacing a shower head. Shower slide bar kit
A family of three could save over 25,000 liters of hot water by simply replacing the standard showerhead with a low-flow model. Some heads come with just one spray pattern such as the rain shower while others can be adjusted to spray different patterns of water, such as a pulsating massage, gentle spray, strong spray, and intermittent pulse or combination modes.

SHOWER SLIDE BAR KIT

This bar makes it possible to use a hand-held shower at different heights. This feature makes it easier for kids to take a shower as everything is within reach. It also comes in handy for cleaning the shower.

FIXED MOUNT or HANDHELD SHOWERHEADS
If the showerhead is directly connected to the shower pipe (also known as gooseneck pipe) there is only limited movement possible. For more flexibility remove the head and replace it with a handheld showerhead.

REPLACING A SHOWERHEAD
If too much force is needed to unscrew the showerhead from the gooseneck pipe there is a chance that this pipe will break where it is connected to the water supply pipe. To prevent this from happening cover the gooseneck pipe with a rag and use water pump pliers to prevent the pipe from moving while you unscrew the showerhead. Clean the threads on the shower pipe and install the new head or handheld shower attachment hose.
