Indoor air pollution. Sick Building Syndrome. Spider plant.

Common house plants can effectively remove harmful pollutants from indoor air, according to a study by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). The two year study indicates that plants provide a natural, cost effective way to clean indoor air and combat 'Sick Building Syndrome'
In the study, Philodendron, Spider Plant and Golden Pothos were found to effectively remove formaldehyde from the air. The test results from another study are printed below. The research also found that one 'pollution fighter' per 100 sq. ft. (9.2 sq. m) is sufficient to clean indoor air.
